Joel's at Needham Square: March 15, 2008 These shoe were made for strolling... in Needham that is. Need a day of retail therapy with girlfriends? No sweat. Join us for our next event, a day of shopping in Needham Square Saturday, March 15th. Needham has a lot to offer, close to sixty shops in fact. Enjoy some shoe shopping at Michelson's Shoes. Score some vintage finds at designer consignment shops The Closet Exchange and Second Time Around... or find some new duds at Lola Tortola. Stop off for a coffee at Starbucks and grab a bagel or baked good at Sweet Rue's or Bagel's best. Get your nails done at Lovely Nails or Popular Nails. The town is yours to explore. Before you get started though, the plan is for everyone to meet up at Joel's candy shop, 996 Great Plain Ave., Needham at 10am. Here we'll enjoy some shoe candy, pick up a map of the area's shops and attractions, and conspire on itineraries. There's public parking right across from Joel's and the Needham Center commuter rail station is walking distance away as well. The outing concludes with everyone meeting up at 1pm at Not Your Average Joe's to compare spoils over a glass of wine or two. To attend, please RSVP to me by Friday March 14th.
