Macy's Downtown Crossing: September 17, 2008

Join Macy's and Hello Stiletto for "Shoe Diva" night, a very special event in celebration of Boston Fashion Week, taking place Wednesday September 17th at 6pm at Macy's in Downtown Crossing.

Come enjoy "divatinis" courtesy of Beija Cachaca and hors d'oeuvres courtesy of Ivy Restaurant, plus special discounts on brand name shoes and an opportunity to meet representatives from a number of different designer labels. A fashion show of footwear from these featured designers will take place with experts commentating on the hottest trends for fall and winter.

Festivities will also include a signature Hello Stiletto "walk off" in which attendees will be invited to walk the runway to compete for the title of 'best in shoe.' That means you'll need to break out your favorite shoes. We're talking about the ones you absolutely love but rarely get a chance to wear. Strappy, sparkly, colorful, or quirky... the more outrageous the better!

All night long there will be music and refreshments, special sales and shopping opportunities, a "shoe cam" trained on the feet of models and catwalking contestants, and more. For the evening's grand finale, prizes will be awarded to winners of the best shoe walk off.
