Lynn Museum: June 20, 2009 Join Hello Stiletto in your fabulous footwear Saturday June 20th at The Lynn Museum. It's "Walk in Style," a celebration of the historic shoemaking past of Lynn, Massachusetts. From 4-6pm, enjoy complimentary wine and hors d' oeuvres in the museum courtyard, tour shoemaking exhibits, and flaunt your footwear in a pink carpet walk-off. In addition, explore local architecture and neighboring lofts at your leisure in a walking tour led by local real estate expert Soraya Cacici, aka The Real Estate Stiletto. Learn how former shoe factories are being converted into beautifully restored lofts, galleries, and restaurants, transforming the area into a blossoming artists' community. At 6pm, the party continues at Red Rock Bistro, located just up the road. Here you'll enjoy a cash bar of cocktails and delicious seafood overlooking magnificent views of the ocean. Admission is $20 (payable in cash at the door) and benefits Third Thursdays, a series of monthly events designed to encourage economic activity in Central Square Lynn through the creation of a vibrant cultural and artistic community.
