Hello Stiletto Shoe Ball: April 23, 2010 Photos by Art Mellor and Shoe Tube. Break out your fancy frock and phenomenal footwear for the "Hello Stiletto Shoe Ball" taking place Friday, April 23rd from 7pm-12am at the Hyatt Regency Boston. It's "black tie optional, fabulous shoes essential" at this gala footwear fete of the year hosted by WBZ-TV's Alana Gomez and featuring live music, dancing, hors d'oeuvres, and a silent and live auction of luxury items. Sponsored by Barefoot, the event features complimentary wine all night long and a "Barefoot in Stilettos" champagne drawing for exclusive designer women's shoes including Giuseppe Zanottis, Manolo Blahniks, and more! The evening's highlight is a 'Best-in-Shoe' "walk-off" presided by a panel of local fashion editors, industry experts, and personalities including Boston Common magazine's Editor in Chief Janice O'Leary, Shag Salon owner Sandy Poirier, the fabulous "Hat Sisters," Shoetube Senior Project Manager Katie Nitchie, Neiman Marcus Shoe Salon Manager Catherine Marshall, and Miss Massachusetts 2009 Amanda Kelly. Prizes will be awarded to catwalking male and female attendees in the most fabulous and flamboyant footwear so be sure to come dressed to kill! Red Stiletto sponsors include EMD Serono and Pfizer.
