For those of you in need of a good closet clean out, have we got an event for you! It's the Hello Stiletto "Scary Shoe Party" in honor of Halloween, taking place Thursday October 30th at 6pm at Slade's Bar & Grill in the South End/Roxbury Crossing neighborhood of Boston.

Join fellow club members in your most horrifyingly grotesque and frightening footwear. Maybe they're terrifyingly out of date or have a gruesome pattern or color. Perhaps they're constructed of diabolically painful and mysterious material.

Regardless, those shoes will need to evoke shrieks of horror from fashionable people everywhere to be worthy of being worn at this event. Prizes will be awarded for the scariest shoes in several different Halloween-themed categories.

The evening will also feature a cash bar for food and drink, plus live music beginning at 7pm by Bruce Owens & Friends featuring vocalist Athene Wilson. Slade's has a great dance floor and some of the best soul food in the city so don't miss what's sure to be a great night in terms of food, drink, and fun.
